Position Overview:

GluCare Integrated Diabetes Center is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to transport nurses to patients' homes in Abu Dhabi and within Dubai for scheduled home visits. The role involves ensuring timely and safe transportation while maintaining a professional and supportive environment for healthcare staff. Candidates must own a reliable vehicle, possess a valid UAE driving license, and demonstrate strong knowledge of UAE road safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation Duties:
• + Provide reliable and timely transportation for nurses conducting home visits in Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas.
+ Assist nurses in loading and unloading medical supplies and equipment as needed.
• Route Planning and Navigation:
• + Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time while ensuring punctual arrival for home visits.
+ Stay updated on traffic conditions and road closures to avoid delays.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• + Ensure your vehicle is in excellent working condition and complies with all UAE traffic regulations.
+ Regularly clean and maintain the vehicle to provide a comfortable and hygienic environment for the nurse.
• Safety and Compliance:
• + Adhere to all UAE driving laws and GluCare's internal policies regarding transportation and safety.
+ Prioritize the safety and well-being of passengers during transit.
• Communication and Coordination:
• + Collaborate closely with the scheduling team to confirm daily routes and schedules.
+ Communicate any delays, issues, or changes in plans promptly to the relevant team.
• Professionalism and Confidentiality:
• + Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor during all interactions with nurses, patients, and families.
+ Handle any patient-related information with the utmost confidentiality in accordance with GluCare policies.

Requirements


Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid UAE Driving License: Required for operating a personal vehicle - A MUST
• Availability to work: 3 days per week (incl. Thursday) and one (1) weekend day - A MUST
• Availability to work: between 8 am - 4 pm - A MUST
• Own visa - A MUST
• Own Reliable Vehicle: Must have a personal car in excellent working condition - A MUST
• Experience: Previous experience as a driver - A MUST
• Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide a supportive and professional experience for nurses and patients - A MUST
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi and Dubai Roads: Familiarity with the region's routes and landmarks is a strong advantage - A MUST
• Physical Fitness: Ability to assist with light lifting of medical equipment if required.
