Job Description

Job Summary:

The Driver is responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of bakery products to various clients, branches, and locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, knowledge of local traffic regulations, and a customer-focused mindset to represent the company professionally during deliveries. The Driver will also assist in loading/unloading, maintaining the vehicle in good condition, and supporting the logistics team as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Delivery:

• Ensure timely delivery of bakery products to various clients and locations according to daily schedules.
• Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery and collect signed delivery receipts from customers.
• Handle bakery items with care to ensure product quality and prevent damage during transport.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Inspect the vehicle daily for cleanliness and mechanical soundness, reporting any issues to the management.
• Ensure regular servicing and maintenance of the delivery vehicle to comply with safety and performance standards.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle service, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information.

Compliance & Safety:

• Adhere to all traffic rules, driving regulations, and company safety standards.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of products, and secure items properly for transport.
• Maintain valid driving credentials and update certifications as required.

Customer Interaction:

• Communicate professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries, ensuring a positive representation of the bakery.
• Address customer concerns or issues promptly and escalate them to the appropriate department if necessary.

Operational Support:

• Assist with packing and loading orders when necessary to meet delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse team to streamline delivery operations and solve logistics challenges.
• Provide support during stock transfers between bakery branches and external vendors.

Documentation:

• Accurately maintain delivery logs, product dispatch records, and fuel/maintenance reports.
• Ensure all required documents, including delivery notes, are completed and submitted on time.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2-3 years of driving experience, preferably in the F&B industry.
• License: Valid UAE driving license (Manual)
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to handle goods with care, especially fragile bakery products.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Customer service skills, with the ability to interact politely and professionally.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 per month
