Job Description

We are looking for an upholstery cleaner who specializes in sofa, mattress, carpet and curtain cleaning. Below are the job responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Upholstery Cleaning: Clean upholstered furniture, such as sofas, chairs, and ottomans, using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment, including steam cleaners, upholstery shampooers, Grouting, scrubbing and vacuum cleaners.

Stain Removal: Identify and treat stains and spots on upholstery, applying stain removers or specialized cleaning solutions as needed to achieve optimal results.

Inspection: Examine upholstery to assess its condition and determine the appropriate cleaning techniques and products to use.

Upholstery Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of upholstered furniture, including vacuuming, fluffing cushions, and applying fabric protectants.

Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences, and provide recommendations for upholstery care and maintenance.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean upholstery cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and safe to use.

Safety and Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and industry standards to ensure a safe and effective cleaning process, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Record Keeping: Maintain records of cleaning tasks, materials used, and any special client requests to facilitate billing and future service.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that the quality of the upholstery cleaning meets or exceeds client expectations and company standards.

Time Management: Manage appointments and schedules efficiently to meet client deadlines and expectations.

Upholstery Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with knowledge of different types of upholstery fabrics and their care requirements to avoid damage during cleaning.

Continuous Learning: Attend training sessions or workshops to enhance cleaning techniques and keep up with industry trends.
