Job Description

Responsibilities:

Assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of the yacht, including the deck, exterior, and all outdoor areas Help with docking and undocking the yacht, including line handling and mooring Clean and maintain yacht equipment and tender boats Participate in all safety drills and ensure the yacht's safety equipment is regularly checked Assist with navigation and sailing duties under the supervision of the captain and officers Provide excellent service to guests, ensuring a high standard of comfort and safety Handle anchors, ropes, and fenders while mooring Help with yacht maintenance tasks such as polishing, varnishing, and general upkeep Ensure all safety protocols and maritime regulations are followed at all times
Requirements:

Previous experience working as a deckhand on yachts is highly preferred (but not required) Valid STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping) certification, or willingness to obtain one A genuine passion for working on yachts and providing excellent service Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings Excellent communication skills in English A professional and friendly attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences Ability to maintain discretion and professionalism in a private, luxury setting
