As part of the team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll formulate actionable growth strategies, drive identification and prioritization of initiatives to capture value, develop roadmaps to activate those initiatives, determine required acquisitions or divestments to enable growth, and consider financial reporting implications for deals. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for passionate and motivated individuals who want to be a part of building a growing part of the practice and support PwC to be a market leader in the Energy, Resources and Sustainability (ERS) space.Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Deals Manager focused within the Energy and Utilities sector. you\xe2\x80\x99ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing strategic and operational advice for our clients, with focus on pre-deal workSupporting clients (private and public sector) in their localization efforts through value chain analysis, identification of investment opportunities and conduction of feasibility studiesDeveloping market assessment, commercial due diligence, business plan and corporate strategy for clients in the Industrials sectorOverseeing the successful delivery of projects, which may include multiple projects at a time, while leading a team of 3-4 consultantsManaging the client relationship on a day-to-day basis and other stakeholdersManaging project budget, reporting on project costs, and managing payment collectionRequirementsRelevant experience in management consulting with a focus on advising governments and major stakeholders in the energy, utilities, power, mining, and sustainability sectors on issues related to strategy and, corporate financeProven experience working within the Middle East region, with a strong understanding of regional market dynamics is preferredGood understanding of investment strategies, deal structuring, and the M&A process, bringing valuable insights and solutions to complex transactions and investment opportunitiesSuccessful when leading teams and delivering projects through to completionProven experience of coaching junior team membersKeen to build collaborative working relationships at all levels, establishing credibility both, internally with senior management, and externally with our clientsStrong time management and organizing skillsAbility to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlinesConfident communicator and can deliver messages with impact to a wide variety of audiencesYour flexibility to travel 40-60% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
