Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.The Global Caterpillar Export Services (CES) team has an opportunity for a Dealer Support Administrator who will manage the flow and work priorities of dealer business applications from dealers worldwide to enable aftermarket parts sales via the CES business models.This role is the main driver for Export Parts Policy compliance, general export and trade compliance, and ensures CES abides by compliance policies set forth by other Caterpillar entities. As the starting point for dealer and customer registration, this role plays a part in mitigating risk associated with Legal, Tax, and Finance as well.This role will interface with Caterpillar employees from many disciplines, customers, and dealers throughout the world.What You Will Do:Maintain comprehensive knowledge of CES business and customersValidate inputs, request clarity and/or additional information from dealers, escalate to CES management, and communicate decisions to dealersGain expert knowledge of CES\'s Dealer Business System and providing support to Distribution Center Order AnalystsUnderstand company policies, practices and systems with regards to customer and dealer code registrationsConduct export compliance screeningValidate dealer provided information for accuracyRequest information from dealers to complete registration processesConsult with other internal business units with regards to trade, export, and compliance regulationsEnter customer and dealer data into Caterpillar database systemsEnforce Caterpillar policies, namely the Caterpillar Export Parts Policy, and enforce all aspects of export complianceEngage in and supporting continuous improvement projects by improving digital capabilities, data collection and accuracy, and systems to help drive strategic initiatives and to improve financial integrity, reporting, and controlsCreate data-driven decision-making processes to drive process improvements for efficiency and qualitySupport finance activities for CES business models including growth and development tasks with regard to financial system testing, customer activity reviews, providing support of CES procure-to-pay processes, and shared responsibility for managing CES Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.What You Have:Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutionsDecision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peersTop Candidates Will Also Have:Knowledge of ERP systems, customer data systems, Salesforce, GTS, etc.Knowledge of LEANKnowledge of software packages such as Power BI, Power Automate, Snowflake, and Microsoft Office applications (namely Excel)Experience and understanding with global logistics and parts distributionAdditional Info :This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in officeNo relocation package will be providedThe successful candidate must be willing to work US business hoursInternational and Domestic travel up to 10%What We Offer:From day one, you\'re set up to thrive at Caterpillar: helpful training, relatable mentors, global experience, competitive salary package, work-life balance, and the growth opportunities you expect with a Fortune 100 company.You power our success, and we are committed to empowering yours.
