Eaton has approximately 96,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.We are seeking experienced DC Installation & Commissioning Senior Field Service Engineer (PQ) to join our team in Dubai.What youll do:To act as a Field Service Engineer (FSE) within local Country Service Unit, Cluster Service and EMEA level if required, mainly working in large data center projects. Provide a first class service for the Eaton installed base products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsible for installation, commissioning, fault finding and repairs. Offer support to the extended EMEA Service community through high level technical knowledge and experience in the field.The key Responsibilities:Responsible for overseeing Data centre commissioning, on behalf of Eaton Field Service in local service unit & as well as within the cluster or it EMEA level, if requiredProvide the highest level of technical expertise in all Hyperscale commissioning activities.Support and train Local Field Service Engineers in such activitiesOnboard, coach and mentor new Field Service Engineers that join EatonManage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback where necessary.Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting on selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits as required.Assist Project Management Organization with support of high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.Maintain direct links with business units (factories) and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testingManage sub contractor teams were requiredPerform Health & Safety audits of Field Service Engineer and subcontractors ensuring the high standards required by EATON are maintained.Any other adhoc duties in line with roleQualifications:Bachelor / Master Electrical Engineering Degree and/or Equivalent Industry experienceInstaller electrical background+7 years of working with UPS, experience in Data CentersSkills:Three phase electrical installation and commissioning experience essential.Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP is an advantage.Programming of PLC control systems (Power Control, Generator Control, SCADA, or process control) is an advantageGood understanding of switch panels and power distributionCommunication skills / Customer Focus / Flexibility / Be able to work together with different cultures / Able to follow instructionsHigh mobility within the hiring cluster and EMEA level, if requested#LI-SA2What we Offer:Being part of a company that has been in business for more than 100 years, is well known in the industry, and has a major impact on the energy industryWork in a company that is commitment to Inclusion & Diversity and SustainabilityAnnual mentoring program, Eaton University, a reward, and recognition systemOngoing Learning and Career Development Opportunities in a global company.
