Job Description

Position: Database Engineer Location: Offshore Contract - 6 months extendable contract Marc Ellis are working on behalf of a leading banking client and is looking for Senior Database Engineer. To be considered for this role you must have the below experience. Job brief: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Database Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization. Familiarity with database security practices and data protection regulations. Ensure database performance, security, and availability. Optimize database queries and troubleshoot performance issues. Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
