Position: Database Engineer Location: Offshore Contract \xe2\x80\x93 6 months extendable contract Marc Ellis are working on behalf of a leading banking client and is looking for Senior Database Engineer. To be considered for this role you must have the below experience. Job brief: \xe2\x80\xa2Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. \xe2\x80\xa2Proven experience as a Database Engineer or similar role. \xe2\x80\xa2Strong knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. \xe2\x80\xa2Experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization. \xe2\x80\xa2Familiarity with database security practices and data protection regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2Ensure database performance, security, and availability. \xe2\x80\xa2Optimize database queries and troubleshoot performance issues. \xe2\x80\xa2Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
