Job description: -

• Install, configure, and maintain database software (MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases)
• Monitor and optimize database performance and ensure high levels of data availability.
• Implement and maintain database security protocols, including user access controls and data encryption
• Develop, implement, and test database backup and recovery plans.
• Ensure the integrity of databases through regular audits and checks
• Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues.
• Collaborate with the development and infrastructure teams to ensure the database architecture meets the requirements of the applications.
• Provide support to development teams by assisting with database-related queries and issues.
• Development of business continuity solutions and disaster recovery (DR, back-ups, contingency planning, replication)
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Seve as a Level 2/3 escalation for all System incidents

Job Specification and Technical Requirements: -

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Database Administrators
• Strong expertise in configure, and maintain database software
• Strong in programming languages such as Python or Java script.
• Excellent in backup and recovery procedures.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Expertise in MongoDB or Couchbase databases
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Expertise in MySQL ,PostgreSQL databases
• Expertise in implementing and managing RADIUS cache solutions.
• Expert on data warehouse technologies
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
