Role: Data Scientist (Computer Vision) Location: Abu Dhabi About Presight

The Opportunity
Are you a qualified and proficient Data Scientist with the proven ability in Computer Vision? Presight needs your skills to develop and deliver diverse data products across the company--including, but not limited to, recommendation engines, predictive models, business-logic automation and machine learning.
Responsibilities:
• Research & Development:
+ Design, implement, and evaluate state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and models for various tasks.
+ Stay abreast of the latest research advancements in the field and apply them to real-world problems.
+ Collaborate with research scientists and engineers to explore new approaches and push the boundaries of computer vision and LLM integration.
• Model Development & Deployment:
+ Utilize existing AI solutions, pre-trained models, or fine-tune open-source models for specific use cases.
+ Package models into docker containers for efficient deployment and scalability.
+ Develop REST APIs for seamless integration with other systems.
+ Deploy models on cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and ensure optimal performance.
• Multimodal Model Training & Fine-Tuning:
+ Work with large-scale multimedia datasets (images, videos, audio) to train and fine-tune large multimodal models and leverage frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, DeepSpeed) to build multimodal applications.
+ Optimize models for accuracy, speed, and resource efficiency.
+ Develop strategies for continual learning and model improvement.
• Business and Team:
+ Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and generate business insights relevant to Presight's business goals.
+ Participate in cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable AI solutions.


Qualifications:
Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine learning, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer role, with a strong focus on computer vision.
• Expert level proficiency in Python.
• Expertise in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and libraries (e.g., OpenCV).
• Experience in containerizing AI models using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes.
• Must have worked with GPU accelerated training, distributed training and Building AI services for GPU inference.
• Ability to work with cloud platforms such as AWS, MS Azure (Preferred), or Google Cloud and use their services for complete AI development lifecycle.
• Experience with model •optimization,• deployment, and monitoring.
• Domain knowledge in computer vision.
