Either way youxe2x80x99ll be looking for somewhere challenging and exciting to work and as part of a dynamic and growing international team.The SITA Data Privacy Manger will support senior members of the Global Privacy Office to monitor and advance local and regional privacy and AI compliance through analysis of data processing activities, risks assessments and second line monitoring reviews to deliver a view of privacy risk as it applies to SITA corporate and commercial activities.Working with colleagues in Legal, IT, Purchasing, Security and across the wider SITA organisation, the SITA Data Privacy Manager will also horizon scan for new privacy and AI laws and regulations, identifying the actions necessary for future state compliance and support relevant mergers and acquisition activities.The successful candidate will have a strong sense of professional curiosity and an interest in the application of internal controls, regulations and privacy best practice in addition to the opportunity to contribute their own thoughts and ideas to the broader development of the Global Privacy Office function in SITA.What you will do
Represent the Global Privacy Office in day-to-day activities to drive pragmatic privacy and AI risk identification and mitigation, policy compliance, education and awareness;
Fulfil the duties of local country data protection officer where required;
Enhance and maintain understanding of data processing and AI activities as they apply to SITA systems, products, customers and vendors;
Execute privacy and AI risk assessments and support monitoring reviews, documenting evidence and ensuring that there are robust audit trails;
Provide timely reporting of relevant risks and KPIs whilst proactively identifying and facilitating mitigations to reduce known risks;
Horizon scan for applicable developments, such as new country laws or regulatory guidance and provide analysis and recommendations for action;
Design, support and deliver privacy and AI training and awareness;
At the direction of the SITA Chief Privacy Officer act as the front door for privacy regulatory/ customer enquiries and complaints; and
Represent SITA externally at professional events, conferences, client facing engagements, and industry forums.
QualificationsWho you are
Minimum of 4 Years + demonstrable experience working at country level within a multinational environment as a privacy officer or in a comparable data compliance role.
Robust knowledge of privacy risk and emerging AI risk and how it applies in a corporate and commercial environment within an enterprise data compliance framework.
Good understanding of privacy and AI laws, standards, and associated compliance requirements.
Skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to convey complex technical privacy matters in simple terms to key stakeholders.
Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities to deadlines whilst collaborating with multiple stakeholders and teams.
Embraces a xe2x80x98hands onxe2x80x99 attitude to problem solving and takes pride in owning deliverables as part of a high performing team.
Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrable understanding and experience of OneTrust or equivalent compliance platform.
Strong team player with a positive attitude, a desire to learn.
Relevant Professional Qualifications
Recognised privacy and or IT audit qualification preferred e.g. IAPP, CRISC, CISA, etc.
OneTrust accreditations desirable.
