Data Privacy AnalystLocation: DubaiResponsibilities:
Support the implementation and maintenance of the data protection framework, providing expert guidance on privacy matters across the organization.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR and regional privacy laws, leveraging a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Utilize privacy management tools such as Securiti.AI, OneTrust, or similar platforms, with 1-2 years of hands-on experience.
Lead the development and management of the Data Protection and Governance Program, overseeing processes like Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).
Draft, update, and maintain internal data privacy policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect industry best practices and comply with evolving regulations.
Oversee daily privacy operations, including managing data subject access requests (DSARs) and responding to privacy-related inquiries.
Design and deliver privacy training programs to raise awareness across all levels of the organization.
Conduct regular compliance monitoring, reporting findings to key stakeholders, and ensuring timely follow-up on corrective actions.
Review and update the company's global data protection measures, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and internal standards.
Collaborate with the IT Security team and other key business units to maintain a secure data environment and further privacy objectives.
Manage the organization's data privacy program across the Group ensuring adherence to local data protection laws, such as the UAE PDPL.
Skills:
Deep knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, with proven expertise in privacy frameworks, compliance programs, and conducting DPIAs, PIAs, and RoPA.
Strong understanding of data governance practices, privacy operations, and handling data subject access requests.
Proficiency in using privacy management tools and familiarity with data security best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create policies, deliver training, and provide advice on privacy-related matters.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and business units, to achieve data protection goals and ensure compliance
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field.
4+ years of experience in data privacy, data protection, or compliance roles.
