:The Data Management Platform Manager leads the Cross Government Data Platform & Integration Team and manages their activities, including overseeing adherence to data quality across the Organization, setting a data governance framework in line with Organization Management policies and standards, etc.Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Cross Government Data Platform & Integration section, oversee the performance of the section and establish its strategic direction and objectives in line with overall Data & Platforms strategy

• Oversee the collection, transformation and manipulation of data to determine findings and communicate how those improve reliability, decision-making, documentation, amongst others

• Drive set up and adherence to data quality across datasets and systems by defining and managing relevant SLAs

• Work jointly with the various relevant stakeholders (e.g., Data Director, governance and architecture departments, IT team, etc.) to ensure Organization data models are in line with the data architecture and the overall data strategy

• Define and implement, along with relevant stakeholders required data pipelines based on identified use cases and necessary integrations

• Adopt and deliver agile methodologies, DevOps expertise (CI/CD)

• Ensure business rules are embedded across the data organization (e.g., overall Catalog, ETLs, data model, etc.)

• Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements

• Collaborate with relevant strategic partners that can effectively support the design, building, development and operations of specific data platforms

• Oversee the building of infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and big data technologies

• Lead a team of architects, engineers and specialists and support them in applying cutting edge tools and techniques to develop and deploy robust data platforms to enable advanced analytics

• Act as a subject matter expert for Data Platforms related request/ inquiries

• Build and mentor team members while providing specific, timely, and constructive performance feedback

• Help foster a data-driven culture that facilitates collaboration and accelerates innovation

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience managing data platforms and integration

• Preferred degree in Computer science or Computer Engineering or any other relevant degree

• Experience with data platform tools like SQL DB, Power BI, Azure Data Platform tools etc.

• Experience in integrating data into analytical platforms, ingestion technologies, data profiling, source-target mappings, ETL development, SQL optimization, testing and implementation

• Preferred prior experience with Public Sector and/or Government Relationship Management

• Strong problem solver with an ability to lead teams to drive products and assets development
