This expansion supports our strategy to serve government and private sector clients in capital projects across construction, infrastructure, energy, and commercial developments.
We are currently seeking a Data Management and Digitization Specialist to support our MENA region expansion as part of our innovative and technology-driven consulting team based in Abu Dhabi.
The Opportunity:
The Data Management and Digitization Specialist will play a key role in supporting our digital transformation efforts, focusing on organizing, managing, and optimizing data for projects within multiple sectors including construction, infrastructure, and energy. This individual will work with internal teams and clients to develop and implement data management strategies, ensuring accurate, accessible, and secure data throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Candidates must have full professional proficiency of Arabic and English language.
Responsibilities:
• Lead efforts to digitize and manage project data, ensuring data is accurate, organized, and accessible for internal and client use.
• Develop and implement data management strategies that align with industry standards and client needs.
• Work with project teams to integrate digital tools and platforms to enhance data management and reporting.
• Ensure data security and compliance with client, industry, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement document control systems and workflows to manage project documentation.
• Support digital transformation efforts, identifying opportunities to streamline data management processes.
• Provide training and support to teams on data management tools and best practices.
• Analyze and report on project data to support decision-making and performance tracking.
• Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data management and digitization.
Role Requirements:
• 5-7 years of experience in data management, digitization, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Certifications in data management or analytics tools (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate) are preferred.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Technical Proficiency in advanced data management software (e.g., SQL, NoSQL databases, data lakes) and digitization platforms, with hands-on experience in data integration, data warehousing, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience in Data Quality Control and Governance, including the ability to create and enforce data governance standards, processes, and policies that ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Knowledge of Data Privacy Regulations and local MENA data protection laws to ensure compliance in data handling and storage practices across the organization.
• Proficiency in Data Visualization Tools (such as Power BI, Tableau) to support the creation of intuitive dashboards and data insights for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with Digitization Initiatives, including document imaging, electronic records management, and digital archiving processes, ideally within sectors relevant to the MENA region, such as construction, energy, or government.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on industry best practices and methodologies.
• Willingness to work outside of normal business hours as required.
• This role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, candidates must be able to commute or willing to relocate.
