Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines for processing and transforming large datasets.
• ETL Processes: Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Data Integration: Integrate diverse data sources, including third-party APIs, databases, and flat files, into a unified data warehouse.
• Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Data Quality: Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing workflows.
• Prompt Design: Write powerful prompts for AIs to get accurate results.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to meet data needs and support analytical projects.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models.

Required Skills:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, for data processing.
• ETL Tools: Experience with ETL tools and frameworks like Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, or similar.
• Database Systems: Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehousing solutions, and data modeling.
• Big Data Technologies: Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, including their data storage and processing services.
• Data Integration: Proven experience in integrating diverse data sources, including APIs, databases, and flat files.
• Data Warehousing: Expertise in designing and managing data warehouses and data lakes.
• Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Security Practices: Understanding of data security best practices and data privacy regulations.

Additional Requirements:

• OpenAI: Experience in working with the OpenAI API and AI Models
• Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of building and managing scalable data pipelines.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
