Data Centre Engineer

Responsibilities

• Daily Data Centre inspections for ER1, ER2, ER3, ER4 (UPS, cooling system, generator, fire alarm &
• suppression system, access control, CCTV, technical room, electrical room, fire system, LV room, etc.
• Support & assisting of other IT teams/vendors/clients for the installation of their servers, switches,
• patch panel, etc inside the Data Centre.
• Training & briefing of FM Data Centre Technicians
• Attending/supervise onsite for the major & critical works maintenance by the specialized vendor for
• DC during office, non-working hours, day-off & holidays.
• Assisting physically of DC clients onsite such us delivery of equipment's, power activation, enquiry, etc.
• Attending internal & external audit (clients audit, Uptime Institute, BSI)
• Cable testing such as fibre and copper connectivity
• Preparing Monthly KPI Report (Utility Charges, Monthly Cable, Revenue & Occupancy)
• Sending Data Centre Notifications & Announcement to DC clients
• Verifications of cables patching Cross-connections of the different carriers
• Reviewing & approving all online permit submitted by DC clients/ DC FM/ISP provider (DU & ETC).
• AutoCAD drawing Data Centre layout update
• Quarterly 600 IT Rooms inspections in Gate Village, Gate District and Gate Avenue Buildings

Skillsets Good to have

• knowledge with Autocad
• knowledge in Generator, UPS, CRACS, BMS, Fire Alarm System, Water leak system, fibre cable, copper cable, network topology, basic knowledge of servers switches routers, data centre design, knowledge to handle team

Qualifications

BTech or other equivalent Qualifications

Experience- 4+yrs
