Lead and mentor the team of Data Center Operations Managers , this includes all aspects of people/performance/career/technical management.
Manage Data Center Operations (DCO) within Amazon Data Centers or Amazon leased Data Center areas within third party Colocation facilities; including risk management and mitigation of critical infrastructure and metric reporting.
Attainment of organizational performance goals and objectives relating to safety, security, availability, scaling, and efficiency in support of our data center operations.
Ensure data center is compliant with security & safety policies and procedures.
Accountability for meeting and exceeding operational goals. Play a key part in innovation and driving automation, continuous improvement of operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools.
Develop, improve, leverage and share operational best practices across the globe.
Hiring, managing, and developing the operations management team including data center managers and data center operations technicians.
Planning and executing the Infrastructure Operations component of new AWS data center build-outs, new colocation build-outs, AWS data center expansions, and colocation expansions, including the network and server rack infrastructure to facilitate the daily operations.
