Job Title : Data Center DevOps Engineer

Position Overview: The Data Center DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing the infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines within our data centers. This role requires a strong background in system administration, infrastructure management, and DevOps practices to maintain optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the physical and virtual infrastructure of data centers, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and cooling systems.
• Automation: Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline data center operations, including deployment, configuration management, and monitoring.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable application delivery.
• System Administration: Manage and administer hardware and software systems within the data center, ensuring all components function correctly and securely.
• Monitoring and Performance: Continuously monitor the performance and health of the data center, proactively identifying and resolving issues to prevent downtime and service disruptions.
• Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect data and infrastructure from unauthorized access, cyber threats, and other risks.
• Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades of data center equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix technical problems as they arise, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of configurations, procedures, and incidents to support efficient data center management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to coordinate efforts and ensure the data center and DevOps practices meet the organization's needs.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in data center management, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with system administration and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques to ensure data center performance and health.
• Knowledge of security best practices and tools to protect data and infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Excellent documentation skills to maintain detailed records of configurations, procedures, and incidents.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel.
