Overview of the role & Responsibilities
Lead a vibrant team, delve into web and app user behavior, and craft impactful dashboards that fuel data-driven decisions across the organization. As our Data & Analytics Manager, you\'ll be the champion of insights, shaping not just internal decisions but also driving client success through interactive media optimization.
Analytics expertise
Demonstrate a deep understanding of Web & App analytics to act as the SME to advise media teams and clients on the best practices and future roadmaps
Proficiency in Google Analytics & Tag management to overlook the implementation, audit optimization process
Proficiency in dashboarding, with the ability to create visually compelling dashboards that communicate key metrics effectively
Basic understanding of Data Engineering concepts, with the willingness to contribute to data optimization processes
Conduct regular data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Participate in and contribute to the evolution of the GroupM Data & Analytics strategic roadmap
Team & Project management
Guide junior resources in designing and implementing data collection strategies, tracking requirements and data integrity
Ability to project manage dashboarding & web & app analytics projects by providing the junior members of the team the right support & direction
Provide a learning path to the junior team members
Collaboration
Collect data requirements from client/agency teams and understand them to create measurement framework, required data pipeline & the best way to visualize it
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights and reports
Effective communication skills to articulate technical subjects to non-technical audiences
Requirements
3-5 years of relevant experience in Web & App analytics, dashboarding and data engineering
Proven expertise in BI and data visualization tools like Google Looker Studio, PowerBI & Datorama
Experience with ETL processes and data cleansing techniques
Proficiency in SQL, Google BigQuery and Looker Studio is preferred
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
A continuous learner with a desire to stay ahead of the curve in data technologies
Preferred qualifications
Good understanding of the media landscape and its data complexities
Experience with advanced MarTech tools (CDPs, CEPs, Marketing Automation, CRM)
