Job Description
We are looking for Cytogeneticists, to look for and evaluate genetic and chromosomal abnormalities using a variety of scientific and technical applications. They often use microscopy and digital photography to observe and analyze DNA and genetic materials to understand how genetics can affect patient health. Many cytogeneticists perform essential duties,
- Collecting and preparing samples for laboratory assessment
- Studying healthy and unhealthy chromosomes in human cells to identify abnormalities and assisting in medical diagnosis and treatment
- Identifying and documenting genetic defects and chromosomal malformations
- Documenting research and procedures
- Collaborating with scientific communities and other specialists in the contribution to genetic information, research, and medical advancements
- Participating in the study of chromosomes for cancer research, autoimmune deficiencies, and spectrum disorders
- Consulting with physicians and healthcare teams to implement treatment plans that support patients\' health and well-being
- Performing studies with patients undergoing gene therapies, completing cancer treatments, or taking genetic medicine to understand and improve health outcomes
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Bachelor\'s (Preferred)
- DHA (Preferred)
