Key Responsibilities:
- - Monitor network traffic for unusual activity.
- - Configure and implement security tools and software.
- - Conduct security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis.
- - Respond to all system and/or network security breaches.
- - Ensure that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
- - Participate in the change management process.
- -Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities.
- - Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.
- - Develop company-wide best practices for IT security.
- - Perform penetration testing.
- - Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management.
- - Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
- - Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards.
Requirements
- -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- -Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
- - Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
- - Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
- -Strong understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
- -Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) is often preferred.
- - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

- - Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- - Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
