Role Overview

This position is a customer facing business development role. Develops and executes campaign strategies for company products. Prospects, develops, expands and maintains business. Strategically positions product offerings to maximize revenue. Responds to proposal requests from customers and develops proposals for presentation to customers. Performs, forecasting for respective channel, customer group, or territory. Manages various channels to increase product awareness and education. Coordinates account resources with internal stakeholders.

Organization Level Description:
  • Work closely with other departments to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
  • Utilize and manage the required internal approval requirements effectively.
  • Ensures practices and procedures are followed.
Responsibility Statements:
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
  • Review details of opportunities in your given territories to assess their growth potential and to set quotas.
  • Develop and execute campaign strategies that align with strategic goals working closely with internal stake holders.
  • Respond to customer tender documents in a timely manner.
  • Liaison for negotiation of long-term agreements working in partnership with support teams.
  • Provides day-to-day direction for support teams (Analysis, contracts, and legal) to meet goals and objectives.
  • Assist in managing the entry into service of new customer fleets to ensure the timely ordering and delivery of provisioning.
  • Monitor executed long term agreement performance to ensure that goals are met.
  • Listen to, and resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.
  • Prepare sales reports for management and budget departments.
  • Develops recommendations to improve procedures to increase revenues, expand markets, and promote business.
  • Participate in trade shows, internal and external conferences, and training as and when required.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications

This position requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of direct customer facing experience. Nothing matters more to Collins Aerospace than our strong ethical and safety commitments. As such, all positions require a background check.
