Job Description

:

Operate Computer-to-Plate (CTP) systems to produce high-quality printing plates.

Prepare and process digital files (PDF, TIFF, etc.) for accurate plate output.

Ensure proper image alignment, resolution, and exposure settings.

Perform regular maintenance and calibration of CTP equipment.

Troubleshoot file, imaging, or plate-related issues quickly and efficiently.

Coordinate with prepress and press teams to meet production timelines.

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and quality standards in the CTP area.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of prepress workflow and printing processes

Familiarity with RIP software and imposition tools (e.g., Kodak, Heidelberg, Esko)

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Basic computer literacy and file handling (PDF, TIFF, etc.)

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma in printing is a plus)

1-3 years of experience in a prepress or CTP-related role

Knowledge of offset printing and plate-making processes
