: The Crisis and Emergency Response (C&ER) Advisor is a senior role within the Client HSE Division, reporting directly to the Corporate HSE Systems Manager and providing (HSE) advice, guidance and support to the Client organisation.The position has a leading role in the development and maintenance of fit for purpose Crisis & Emergency Response Management systems for Corporate, Project and future Operate phases of the Client Program. The scope of the Crisis & Emergency Response Advisor role includes providing management oversight on all C&ER activities carried out by or on behalf of the COMPANY, at assets under the direct or indirect control of Company. This includes in-country (UAE) and overseas Project locations at both Company and Contractor facilities. Actively support the development of a strong HSE culture, shared by our contractors.
Coordinate the effective delivery of the Client (Company) C&ER Management Systems to support establishment of the new ADNOC Operating Company.
Ensure that all Company C&ER documentation is developed and maintained in compliance with ADNOC Codes of Practice and all applicable UAE laws.
Support the VPHSE and Corporate HSE Systems Manager in the setting of Corporate HSE objectives, targets and key performance indicators and ensuring that they are recorded, tracked, maintained and reported appropriately.
Support the VPHSE and Corporate HSE Systems Manager in the development of the 1-year and 5-year plans and budgets (as part of the overall HSE and Corporate planning processes).
Provide strategic, technical and tactical C&ER support and advice to senior and line management. Provide technical support to the Human Resources department in the development, implementation and assurance of C&ER learning, development and competence processes.
Coach and mentor junior C&ER staff to support functional excellence and Emiratization.
Ensure fit for purpose inspection and preventative maintenance programs are in place and maintained for C&ER equipment.
Develop and implement a fire risk audit program and train/coach Prevention and C&ER teams in executing this program.
Provide assurance and facilitate continual improvement in the C&ER culture through the mechanisms of regular audits and delivering coaching/mentoring sessions and awareness programs for full time C&ER officers and volunteers.
Implement personal development and performance management processes for all direct reports in accordance with Company HR policies and procedures.
