Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Crewing/Crewing Coordinator to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The Senior Crewing/Crewing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the crewing activities for our marine operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating crew schedules and rotations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced maritime environment.Responsibilities:
- Manage the crewing activities for our marine operations, including crew scheduling, rotations, and assignments.
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to crewing and manning of vessels.
- Coordinate crew travel, visas, and work permits, and ensure all documentation is in order for crew members.
- Maintain accurate crewing records, including crew certifications, training, and medical documents.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as HR, operations, and finance to ensure smooth crewing operations.
- Monitor crew performance, conduct evaluations, and provide support for crew welfare and development.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new crew members, conducting interviews and assessments as needed.
- Handle crew-related communications, including inquiries, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to crewing and maritime operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of crewing processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for efficiency and excellence.REQUIREMENTS- Proven experience as a Crewing Coordinator or similar role in the maritime industry.
- In-depth knowledge of maritime regulations, crewing requirements, and international maritime conventions.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse teams and cultures.
- Proficiency in crew management software, MS Office, and other related tools.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently.
- Bachelor\'s degree in maritime studies, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or training in crew management, maritime operations, or related areas is a plus.
