SynopsisReporting to the Senior Manager Training Planning; the Crew Training Controller will be responsible for maintaining all 24/7 published rostered training events, whilst ensuring maximum utilization of all training simulator devices, facilities and instructors to maximize the potential of the 3rd Party revenue budget. Ensuring 100% compliance to OM-D, GCAA and EASA within a crew management software systemAccountabilities
Responsible for maintaining all flight and cabin crew training planned events in the live crew roster during any unknown disruptions as per compliance to OM-D, GCAA and EASA.
Assist all ad-hoc changes advised from the manpower planning, flight operations management and EAT 3rd Party departments requested within the published crew training rosters with minimal cost in lost training events.
Verify daily and monthly checks to ensure the crew software management system is 100% accurate as per the past, current and future training events to ensure zero regulator findings with GCAA or EASA.
Monitor and track the overtime, PPU - Pay Per Use Instructors to minimize cost in payroll with efficient recovery scheduling methods of their roster and training plans.
Assist in the User acceptance testing for any software issues (bugs) and/or updates to the crew management software used for tracking all training events.
Education & Experience
Post-Secondary education preferred in computer or aviation industry study.
At least 3 years experience in an airline operations department preferably within Crew Control, Crew Planning or NOC - Network Operations.
