sWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Boat Captain with relevant experience and qualifications to operate as a Captain for vessels below 500 GRT, specifically in the capacity of a small vessel crew boat. The successful candidate must possess a valid certificate, safety training, and a verified Certificate of Competency (COC) for UAE endorsement. Additionally, proficiency in English communication is essential for this role.Location: Fujairah, UAEResponsibilities:

• Operate and navigate the crew boat safely and efficiently within Fujairah Port\'s anchorage services area.
• Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on the vessel and its equipment to ensure seaworthiness.
• Manage and supervise the crew members on board, ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with port authorities, clients, and other vessels as necessary to facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of voyages, cargo, crew, and any incidents or emergencies that may occur.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies, including medical emergencies or distress signals.
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service while interacting with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) with UAE endorsement for vessels below 500 GRT.
• Completion of relevant safety training courses, including but not limited to, STCW certification.
• Proven experience as a Captain or Officer on crew boats or similar small vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent navigational and seamanship abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Sound knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work long hours and on weekends or holidays as required by operational needs.
