The Jobholder will be responsible for managing the Home Finance Underwriting, which includes Underwriting, Contact Point Verification for NTML companies, and initiate customer field Visit for Self Employed applicants. The role holder will be responsible to ensure that customer focus is key across functions & ensures that constant improvement to the processes. The role holder will be responsible for working closely with all stakeholders to ensure adherence to the policy / process guidelines and Productivity are met on a daily / monthly
Key Accountabilities of the role
Analyze Bank Statements so as assess its genuineness, continuity, business turnovers, cheque returns, average balances and to observe if there is any chance of artificial fabrication of such statements.
Analyze applicant\'s financial statements and comment on its findings (where required).
Check customer\'s status through de-dupes/CBRB.
Meeting the minimum daily targets assigned by management while maintaining the lowest level of errors as measured by the scorecard.
Escalate cases requiring higher DP with full analysis and recommendations to facilitate their decision making
Demonstrate full and up to date knowledge of ADIB\'s products, policies and procedures.
Proactively and continually make and recommend system changes and enhancements, also ensure that all procedures and policies are implemented and being followed in compliance with organization.
Demonstrate full team spirit and positive attitude.
Perform any other responsibilities entrusted by ADIB Management from time to time and any other task assigned by Management.
Meets productivity standards; completes work in timely manner; strives to increase productivity.
Identify and suggest changes to enhance and improve Home Finance underwriting processes and increase productivity.
Ensure optimum results are achieved while maintaining productivity standards.
Support the unit in finnone system implementation and raise all issues till resolve, ensure that all policy parameters are captured through system and highlight any issues/system bugs, etc.
RESULTS REQUIERD:
Support business in achieving monthly budget & targets while maintaining highest quality portfolio
Additional support to business in capturing customers within the acceptable parameters without violating CB regulations.
Contribute positively in the daily underwriting activities
Provide constructive comments and feedback on proposed finance applications
Compliance of policies & procedures - Comply and perform Key operational controls as required in ADIB\'s polices & procedures in day-to-day operations
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
Good credit and analytical skills and knowledge
Minimum 3 years of practical banking experience preferably in the finance & credit field
Detailed knowledge of ADIB\'s Retail Banking credit products & services
