Job Description

• Monitors and analyzes receivable accounts to identify problem areas and plans and implements effective corrective action to resolve issues and prevent reoccurrence.
• Periodically consults with Sales/Marketing in devising/updating policies related to the Account Receivable function.
• Ensure that credit and collections activities are conducted effectively and ethically,
• Review daily the high balance report of clients' accounts and follow-up reminders sent.
• Responsible for organizing, collecting, and verifying all credit financial data.
• Personally investigate the largest customer credit applications.
• Responsible for researching the client's creditworthiness.
• Provides daily supervision and guidance to Accounts Receivable staff.
• Responsible for established procedures and guidelines to collect and secure credit information, and maintain accurate records.
• Maintains accurate and timely financial and operating information and provides analyses, interpretations, and projections to management as required.
• Prepares e-mails for collection follow-up and replies to e-mails of client inquiries and complaints.
• Handles follow-up of delinquent and problem accounts. Endorses delinquent accounts to legal as may deem necessary.
• Plan strategies and techniques to be implemented by the credit team for a more efficient and speedy collection of accounts
• Coordinates closely with other departments to ensure the correctness of accounts billed.
• Reviews and monitors the aging of accounts receivables regularly.
• Attends monthly credit meetings both with the management and department.
• Prepares policy and procedures for credit & collection.
• Be cooperative with the HOD and the entire team for all other duties and do the direct or indirect jobs as one team.
• You may be required to undertake other duties or work in another section from time to time as the Company may require according to the business requirements.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Respond to guests' queries and account disputes supply data and information and answer queries from individual clients.
• Establishes and maintains effective internal communications, including daily meetings with own staff for optimum teamwork and productivity.

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting, finance, or similar.
• Demonstrable experience as a credit specialist.
• Excellent knowledge of all applicable governing regulations and bodies.
• Strong research, statistical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to negotiate credit limits and repayment options.
• Capacity to let ineligible clients down in a dignified manner.
• Willingness to institute pertinent corrective measures to procure monies owed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
