Responsibilities:
• Design and create website layouts, graphics, and user interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to navigate.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and ensure that they are properly implemented.
• Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across all web projects.
• Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and improve the user experience.
• Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Work with marketing and content teams to ensure that website content is engaging and aligns with brand messaging.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs as they arise.
• Assist in maintaining and updating existing websites.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, or Figma.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong portfolio of web design projects.
• Knowledge of web standards and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Understanding of basic back-end development concepts.
