Are you a Creative Director or Head of Design/Marketing?
We are looking for a talented Creative Director to lead the Design team responsible for Group's campaign, print and digital assets. You should possess a natural creative flair and visual ability that can inspire, inform and problem-solve to execute a variety of projects at a fast pace. You must execute complex briefs across a range of mediums including print, video, multimedia and corporate brand collateral. You must be equally comfortable working alone or collaboratively with colleagues and be competent and confident in the conceptual process and selling ideas to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
To lead the Design team and be responsible for all design collateral of the Group and its operating companies
Responsible for the design and layout of branded and visual communication materials, websites, videos and other marketing assets
Overall project management, prioritising and managing work coming in from multiple business units, and meeting project deadlines to ensure on-time completion
Oversight of operating companies to ensure they are executing branding and marketing projects per Groups instructions
Work proactively under own initiative and as part of the Design Team, owning and completing projects yourself, not just delegating and managing
Working closely with the Head of Branding, Director of Communications and Writers
Working within the constraints and guidelines of our branding guidelines and visual identity
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following traits:
Minimum 10-15 years of design experience, with experience leading creative teams; experience working in a design agency a strong plus
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Knowledge of UI/UX Design
Ability to use AI-based tools to develop and execute briefs
Strong experience executing photography and videography projects
Manage internal publications and documents that require an editorial touch
Meticulous attention to detail
Take ownership in projects and consistently deliver a high standard of work
Core design skills in layout, typography and visual communication
Able to work across both digital and print
Hunger to learn - act bravely and not stay in a comfort zone
Ability to work at speed, and multi-task with complex briefs
Professional appearance
Positive attitude, be an "energizer"
Good communication skills and be very well spoken
Ability to manage relationship with C-suites and company leadership
