Position: Crane Operator

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects and materials on construction sites and other industrial settings. This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of skill, precision, and safety awareness. Key Responsibilities: - Operate different types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, to lift, move, and position heavy objects and materials - Read and interpret load charts, rigging plans, and other technical documents to determine the appropriate lifting methods and equipment - Inspect and maintain cranes and related equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation - Communicate with other team members to coordinate lifts and ensure safety protocols are followed - Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on cranes and related equipment - Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries - Keep accurate records of daily activities, including equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents or near misses - Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge Qualifications and Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid crane operator certification - Minimum of 3 years of experience operating different types of cranes - Strong understanding of crane safety regulations and procedures - Knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment - Ability to read and interpret technical documents and load charts - Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting and work at heights - Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
