Main Purpose of the Job · The Mason looking and maintaining all masonry works inside and outside buildings at project site. · Perform any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment as assigned by their supervisor. · Gives suitable assignments to those assigned as helpers. Main Competencies required for the Position . Knowledge of related tools, masonry techniques, equipment and materials. . Skill in the construction, alteration, repair, and maintenance of masonry structures and surfaces. Main Duties / Responsibilities

. Constructs and repairs concrete structures. . Construct infrastructure utility structures like manholes, chambers, inspection chambers, gullies...etc. . Determining and mixing or supervising the mixing of cement or mortar. . Pouring concrete and surface finishing. . laying block, stone and brick, . Plastering works. . Erecting precast elements such as fences, trellises ...etc. . Fix curbstone, interlock, heel curb, tile, granite, marble and terrazzo . Cladding works . Use trowels, joiners, edges, chisels, levels, plumb bobs, vibrators, and concrete mixers.

Minimum qualifications / educational levels required for this position . An equivalent of education from which similar knowledge. Selection Criteria . Occasionally work from ladders or scaffolding at heights over ten 3 meters. . Frequently lift up heavy stuff Special Conditions . Good in liaising with workers, users and public. .
