**Oman Country Sales Manager**
This position works out of our Oman location in the Abbott Nutrition Division
**About Nutrition Division**
Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As National Sales Manager, you'll drive the long-term growth of Abbott Nutrition products through the leadership of a high performing, agile, ethical sales team
Develop a robust talent pipeline of high performers who drive the business, and may be developed into future Abbott leaders
**What you'll Do**
+ Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives.
+ Manage sales strategies, increasing brand recognition and awareness.
+ Achieve top and bottom line for Oman .
+ Maintain relationships with customers, retailers, and suppliers.
+ Manage all tender's procedure starting from Quoting, Pricing, introduce new items and follow up shipping.
+ Create very health, ethical and competitive environment inside the team by clear team differentiation depend on achievement.
+ Create teamwork by distribute tasks between team for big activities.
+ Keep team knowledge and skill level at top (continuous knowledge and skill refreshment).
+ Follow up distributer orders, stocks.
+ Follow up trade (listing, availability, contracts, and promotions)
+ Make sure right coaching done by FLMs.
+ Ensure achieving monthly connect KPIs, discuss RCAs if any then immediate correction action.
+ Review and evaluate competitors' activities, lunches, prices etc
+ Create and implement effective business plans.
+ Develop effective action plans and respond to emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
+ Develop opportunities for expansion of business an improving margin.
+ Develop standards for optimum performance.
+ Manage budgets spending.
+ Follow up marketing activities with marketing team and make sure this implemented on ground.
+ Follow up shipments and forecast accuracy with supply chain team.
+ Follow up registration and sticking company and country regulations with regulatory team.
+ Achieve zero compliance by do each action in right way.
**Key success factors**
+ A tendency to "own the business", holding themselves and their teams accountable for the quality of execution
+ Strong business insight skills, including integrating digital tools and platforms with traditional touchpoints across channels, and interpreting and translating online and offline customer behaviors into strategic activities
+ Ability to make new connections between data and insights, and to make these ideas understandable and actionable to others
+ Ability to articulate the global strategy into a compelling commercial vision with a strategic call plan
+ Ability to translate and explain Business Strategy into Financial outcomes (and KPIs)
+ Strong relationship building, stakeholder (internal) and customer (external) management
+ Working collaboratively with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Analytics, SFE, Training) to optimize performance
+ Investing highly in team development, prioritizing and valuing individual development planning and coaching, and a holistic approach to people management
Required Qualifications
+ Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar position
+ Pharmaceutical, or Nutrition background
+ Proven track record in sales and organization management (Marketing is a plus)
+ Capable of articulating and implementing organizational strategy
+ Capable of developing forecasts and strategies to achieve sales at price levels to ensure profitability.
+ People management experience is mandatory.
+ Oman experience is required
