The Country Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the overall business operations, driving revenue growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and building strong client relationships in the UAE market. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in logistics, supply chain management, business development, and UAE market regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth, market expansion, and profitability in the UAE.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends in the logistics sector.
Lead and manage the P&L (Profit & Loss) responsibility, ensuring financial targets are met.
Expand the companys presence in the UAE by acquiring new clients and enhancing customer relationships.
Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and freight management.
Ensure operational efficiency by implementing best practices and process improvements.
Manage fleet operations, route optimization, and cost-effective logistics planning.
Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth operations.
Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, customer service, and finance.
Develop and implement employee training programs to enhance team performance.
Foster a strong work culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and high performance.
Ensure full compliance with UAE logistics regulations, customs laws, and transport policies.
Maintain strong relationships with government bodies, customs authorities, and industry regulators.
Implement and monitor health, safety, and quality standards within the organization.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and business partners.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing efficient and reliable logistics solutions.
Act as the companys representative in industry events, forums, and trade shows.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
8+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or transport management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong understanding of the UAE logistics industry, regulations, and market dynamics.
Proven experience in P&L management, business development, and revenue growth.
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to drive operational efficiency.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in logistics management software, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making.
Ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and adapt to changing market conditions.
