We are committed to providing innovative and reliable products to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Our team is dedicated to excellence, and we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cost Estimator to join our team.

The Cost Estimator will be responsible for analyzing and estimating the cost of manufacturing gaskets, including material, labor, and overhead costs. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales, engineering, and production teams to develop accurate cost estimates and pricing strategies.

Cost Analysis: Analyze specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for gasket manufacturing projects.

Material Costing: Determine material requirements and costs by evaluating supplier quotes and historical data.

Pricing Strategies: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop competitive pricing strategies based on cost estimates and market analysis.

Documentation: Prepare detailed cost estimate reports and maintain accurate records of all estimates and related documents.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to clarify project requirements and provide cost-related information and support.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and procurement teams to ensure cost estimates are aligned with project requirements.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost estimating, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in the gasket or sealing industry is a plus.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in cost estimating software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop accurate cost estimates.

Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in preparing cost estimates and documentation.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate cost information to various stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
