Job Summary:

Al Qoze Electromechanical, a leading turnkey HVAC contracting company in the UAE, is seeking a Cost Controller with at least 2 years of experience to manage and monitor project costs, ensuring that all financial aspects of the projects align with budgets and timelines. The successful candidate will play a vital role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting for HVAC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor project costs to ensure they are aligned with the budget and project timelines.
• Review and validate project expenditures, ensuring all costs are recorded accurately.
• Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to track project progress and cost performance.
• Prepare cost reports and financial statements for management review.
• Assist in the development of cost control processes, policies, and procedures to improve financial efficiency.
• Perform variance analysis between actual and budgeted costs, providing recommendations to mitigate cost overruns.
• Ensure accurate cost allocation across multiple projects.
• Forecast project costs and prepare cash flow reports.
• Analyze contracts, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure compliance with budget and project agreements.
• Support the preparation of budgets for new and ongoing projects.
• Liaise with external auditors during project audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cost Controller in the UAE, preferably in the construction or MEP industry.
• Proficiency in cost management software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction and MEP regulations and standards.

Preferred:

• Experience in HVAC or electromechanical projects.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CIMA) are an added advantage.
