The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing cost control strategies, analyzing cost data, and providing financial insights to support the companys strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures.
- Conduct cost analysis and variance analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Prepare and analyze cost reports and budgets.
- Monitor and control production costs, including material, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with production and procurement departments to optimize costs.
- Participate in the development of pricing strategies.
- Provide financial support to the management team.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and financial regulations.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cost control and management accounting within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in the metal manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of costing methodologies (e.g., standard costing, activity-based costing).
- Certification in cost management (e.g., CMA).
