Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual costs, providing actionable insights. Collaborate with project managers to forecast future costs and assist in strategic planning. Prepare comprehensive cost reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key financial metrics. Implement cost control measures and best practices to optimize resource allocation. Evaluate supplier contracts and negotiate pricing to maximize cost efficiency. Monitor and track project expenditures in real-time, ensuring compliance with financial policies. Assist in the preparation of financial audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed. Train and mentor junior finance staff in cost control processes and tools. Utilize advanced financial software to streamline cost tracking and reporting efforts. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA is a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost control or financial analysis, preferably in construction or manufacturing. Professional certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are highly desirable. Experience in a fast-paced industry with a strong understanding of project management principles. Preference for candidates with experience in multinational companies to navigate diverse financial environments. Proficiency in financial software like SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems is essential. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and collaboration. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
