Position Summary:•

The Cost and Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the established budget and quality standards. This role focuses on maintaining cost control throughout the project lifecycle and ensuring that all construction work adheres to company and regulatory quality standards. The Cost and Quality Controller works closely with the construction team, procurement, and quality assurance departments to achieve cost efficiency and high-quality project delivery.

•Key Responsibilities:•

1. •Cost Control:•

- Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures.

- Monitor and analyze project costs, identifying variances from the baseline budget.

- Conduct cost forecasting and budget allocation to ensure financial efficiency.

- Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and invoices to ensure costs align with the project budget.

- Prepare cost-to-complete forecasts and provide regular cost performance reports to management.

2. •Quality Assurance:•

- Establish and enforce quality control standards and ensure compliance with construction specifications and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct inspections and audits to verify that materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.

- Identify quality issues and work with the construction team to implement corrective actions.

- Track and document quality control results, ensuring all defects or deviations are promptly addressed.

3. •Procurement Oversight:•

- Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.

- Evaluate suppliers and contractors for quality and cost performance.

- Review material submittals and ensure that all procured materials meet project specifications.

4. •Reporting and Communication:•

- Provide regular reports on cost performance, quality control metrics, and deviations from the budget or quality standards.

- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and management, regarding cost and quality issues.

- Support project managers with financial data and quality assessments to facilitate informed decision-making.

•Qualifications:•

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in cost control and quality assurance in construction or real estate development.

- •Proficiency in cost control systems• (e.g., •CostX, SAP, ERP• systems) and •quality management tools• (e.g., •ISO standards, QA/QC software• like •Procore, BIM 360, Bluebeam•).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, materials, and quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
