Job Title: Cost Accountant Location: Ras Al Khaimah Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (9 am to 6 pm) Salary : AED 3000 to 4000 : We are seeking an analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing, recording, and reporting on the financial costs of our operations. This role will involve tracking expenses, analyzing variances, preparing budgets, Daily expense booking and providing financial insights to support decision-making. •Key Responsibilities:• - Analyze and reconcile production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses. - Prepare and maintain cost reports, budgets, and forecasts. - Monitor inventory levels and evaluate inventory costs. - Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency. - Booking daily GRN and DO. - Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. - Assist in month-end and year-end close processes. - Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives and projects. - Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. •Qualifications:• - Master of Commerce with certification in cost accounting or equivalent. - 4 years of experience in cost accounting or a related role. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Proficiency in accounting software Tally ERP 9 is must and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Manufacturing or production industry is an advantage(Petrochemical Industry is an added advantage).
