URGENTLY LOOKING FOR COST ACCOUNTANT - INVENTORY COSTING AND CONTROL

:

1. Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs). Operational

2. Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.

3. Control the Company's stores and Warehouse in terms of wastage, pilferage and efficiency through regularly performing thorough variance analysis on cost deviations.

4. Prepare and complete internal cost audits.

5. Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.

6. Analyze the data collected and log a detailed record of the results.

7. Analyze any changes in goods or services provided in order to determine what effect it has on the cost.

8. Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.

9. Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.

10. Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services.

11. Assist in audits and general ledger preparation.

12. Conduct physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.

13. Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs).

14. Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts.

15. Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions.

16. Reconcile all inventory accounts based on the actual purchases & inventory stock in coordination with the storekeeper and allocate expenses to the respective departments based on their requests.

17. Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization. People

Qualification:

1. Excellent in English and basic understanding of Arabic language is a plus. 2. Ability to manage work and schedule & assign task under pressure with high level of accuracy.

3. Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.

4. Min 6 Years of Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role in Food Industry.

5. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

6. Experience of working on ERP Systems.
