Cost Accountant

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and collecting data to determine the cost of business activities such as raw material purchase, inventory and labour. The role includes analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
Key responsibilities:
Product Pricing
Support management with analysis and reports to help make key financial decisions
Implement and maintain cost standards for material and labor
Identify and recommend cost-effective measures to improve efficiency
Reconcile inventory accounts
Monitor and report any variances between actual costs and budgeted costs
Prepare budgets and forecasts for production cost
Analyse manufacturing costs and prepare regular comparing standard costs to actual production costs
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Assist with internal and external audits
Qualifications
M.com/MBA-Finance /ICWA/CMA with 5 to 8 years of experience in Food manufacturing/ FMCG companies, UAE experience is highly desirable.
