Job Summary: Looking for a Cost Accountant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Key Details:
- Gather cost data and maintain the expense database
- Evaluate data collected, record the results and guide as necessary
- Set up standard costs and update them as appropriate
- Evaluate costs and prepare periodic reports
- Prepare estimates for new and proposed costs
- Estimate and plan future purchasing costs based on the economic needs
- Determine and suggest cost-effective solutions
- Generate monthly costing statement
- Perform any other related tasks as may be required
- Degree in Accounting or the equivalent qualifications
- At least 1+ years of experience as a cost accountant or similar position
- Must be familiar with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as well as cost accounting standards
- Strong working knowledge of accounting procedures
- Should have good Ms Office suite packages
- Strong knowledge of accounting software programs
- Possess good knowledge and experience in financial and cost accounting
- Good communication and collaborative skills
- Should be able to work independently under minimal supervision
- Only Asian candidates are required
- Must be ready to report immediately
