Black & Grey HR is actively seeking a skilled Cost Accountant for a prominent facilities management company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is crucial for analyzing and reporting on financial data related to various sectors including manufacturing, construction, maintenance, and operational expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Analysis: Examine both direct costs (materials and labor) and indirect costs (overhead and administrative expenses), providing in-depth analysis of cost structures.
- Cost Control and Reduction: Lead efforts to pinpoint and correct inefficiencies in existing processes, and recommend effective cost-reduction strategies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets and forecasts, using projected costs and revenues to enhance financial planning.
- Product/Service Costing: Evaluate the financial implications of producing specific goods or services to support strategic pricing decisions.
- Financial Reporting: Aid in the creation of financial reports, focusing on cost and inventory metrics to present accurate financial pictures.
- Process Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Solid experience in cost accounting, ideally in manufacturing, construction, or facilities management.
