We are seeking an experienced and proactive Corporate Counsel to oversee all legal aspects of the business. This role will involve handling day-to-day legal issues, drafting and negotiating contracts and NDAs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic legal advice to our leadership team.




The ideal candidate will come from a crypto background and be comfortable working in an evolving and fast scaling start up.



Key Responsibilities:


• Contracts and Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents.
• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including [industry-specific regulations].
• Strategic Legal Advice: Provide legal guidance on strategic initiatives, business transactions, and corporate governance.
• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Corporate Governance: Assist with corporate governance matters, including preparing for board meetings and maintaining corporate records.
• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with various departments (e.g., finance, HR, operations) to support the company's objectives.
• External Liaison: Manage relationships with external legal counsel as needed.


Qualifications:



• Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong experience within the crypto industry with a strong knowledge of the regulatory landscape
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
