The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a corporate lawyer, particularly within the manufacturing and technology sectors. Proficiency in contractual law and a foundational understanding of intellectual property are essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and support on corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including supplier agreements, licensing agreements, and joint venture contracts.
Advise on intellectual property issues, including patent, trademark, and copyright matters, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the manufacturing and technology sectors.
Assist in the resolution of disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation as necessary.
Support the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to corporate governance and compliance.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior legal staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Law; LLM or additional legal qualifications are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, preferably in the manufacturing or technology sectors.
Strong understanding of contractual law and intellectual property law.
Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to legal risk management.
Familiarity with local laws and regulations in the UAE, particularly in relation to corporate governance and intellectual property.
Arabic language skills are highly desirable, as some agreements may be in Arabic.
