The Opportunity:

Kent is looking for an energetic, driven and talented mid-level Corporate Lawyer to join and complement our dynamic and vibrant global legal department based in Dubai. This role is perfect for a legal expert with a passion for an exciting and challenging in-house position reporting directly to Kent's General Counsel. This is an exhilarating opportunity to work on a diverse range of complex multi-jurisdictional corporate finance and other transactions within a high-performing and collaborative legal team. You will have the mandate to make a significant impact and contribute to Kent's ambitious international growth journey. You will be at the heart of our operations providing legal and commercial support to drive our business forward right across our global footprint in the Americas, Europe, MENA and AsiaPac.

In this role, some of the following duties you will undertake but not limited to:

• Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Joint Ventures: Lead and support strategic M&A transactions and joint ventures, from due diligence to negotiation and integration.
• Corporate Structuring: Advise on corporate structuring initiatives, including entity formation, restructuring, and governance frameworks, to optimize operational efficiency and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Financing: Oversee legal aspects of financing activities, including debt and equity financing and financial and security agreements.
• Policy Innovation: Drive the development and implementation of progressive policies and procedures, custom-fit for our operations throughout the globe.
• Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate a spectrum of commercial agreements from NDAs to high-stakes client and supplier agreements and groundbreaking partnership deals.
• Labour and Employment Law: Provide guidance on complex labour and employment law matters, ensuring compliance with local regulations and promoting a harmonious workplace environment.
• Legal Strategy and Counsel: Provide value-add strategic legal and commercial guidance to senior management and departments, navigating complex issues across our international businesses

What we're looking for:

• 5 years' experience in corporate law (This position is more suited to a candidate in the earlier years of their law career)
• Relocation to our Head Office in Dubai
• Experience of working on and supporting AsiaPac transactions and other legal matters will be an advantage.
• Legal qualification to degree level (Bachelor's or equivalent). Professional Legal certification preferred
