Corporate Finance Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President - Investments, this position is responsible for overseeing the financial management information systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting, data analysis, and effective decision-making within the finance department. This role involves managing financial data systems, implementing improvements, and collaborating with finance and IT teams. Key Accountabilities: Funding Management:

Preparation of financial models for project and corporate funding. Assist in structuring the transaction. Liaise with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and lenders for closure of transaction documents. Financial Planning and Analysis:

Analyze new opportunities, build robust financial models, and transaction structures for discussions with management. Develop and maintain financial reports for management, ensuring they align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborate with finance teams to integrate financial data into budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensure that budgeting systems are aligned with organizational objectives. Investor Relations and Board Management:

Preparation of board memos and financial presentations for the Board of Directors and Investment Committee. Assist in drafting investor presentations and writing content for the annual report. System Implementation and Enhancement:

Lead initiatives to implement, upgrade, or enhance financial information systems. Work closely with IT and external vendors to ensure system functionality meets finance department needs. Data Accuracy and Integrity:

Establish and enforce data quality standards to ensure the integrity of financial information. Implement controls and processes to identify and rectify data discrepancies. Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure financial systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. Implement measures to mitigate financial data-related risks. Qualifications, Experiences, Core Competencies: Graduate in Accounting & Finance, MBA Finance or professional qualifications such as CA/CPA/CFA would be an added advantage. Experience in working on an Oracle ERP platform. 6-8+ years of relevant experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
