Job Description

About the Job
  • Coordinate all movements and handling of materials & equipment in a timely manner to meet the business objectives and administrate the documentation related to all incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods to and from the company locations.
  • Support the logistics manning, certification and licensing of the fleets to ensure it remains complaint with the applicable rules and regulations to serve the business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
  • Receive approved Purchase Orders acts according to payment terms. Maintain Purchase Order Files. Receive correspondences related to Purchase Orders and act accordingly.
  • Review the preparation of Letters of Credit, amends Purchase Orders, amends Letter of Credits, and issue duty exemption letters & shipping guarantees.
  • Verify proper shipping documents, packing lists, invoices and customs documents are acquired to expedite delivery. Coordinate the Customs Duty Deposit and Refund claims with Customs Department.
  • Monitor and follow-up for delivery of material with suppliers / manufacturers. Follow up advance payments and bank guarantee as per purchase orders.
  • Clear and forward of materials from Airport/Seaport to company locations.
  • Arrange transportation and forwarding services for all purchase orders.
  • Issue release orders and purchase orders to appointed forwarder for their logistic services as per contract terms and conditions.
  • Interact with buyers, end users and vendors for technical clarifications.
  • Interact with forwarders and vendors for material shipments makes necessary changes in mode of shipments according to the weight & volume of the shipments.
  • Control the logistics supporting company plans, programs, and contractors equipment comply with UAE/Company HSE policies and directives.
  • Issue instructions to sub-contractors.
  • Check Hazardous goods/ items are handled in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • Coordinate material movements with all the concerned parties to ensure timely receipt.
  • Record all transfers of Goods/Items in the system as they occur.
  • Report all Damage/shortages immediately in accordance with agreed procedure.
  • Verify best practice is applied to all movement operations.
  • Arrange transportation for equipment and personnel.
  • Monitor and track movement of company personnel and equipment to and from the field.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Engineering, or relevant degree
  • At leas 6 years experience in the same or similar role in a logistics, oil and gas, or relevant industry
